How To Hack The Listing Names And Descriptions So Buyers Find You Faster

This guide will help you optimize your wins in the CloudTask Marketplace by:

  • Attracting Buyers by using language on your listing names that is specific to the results.
  • Increasing engagement from potential Buyers by drafting compelling service descriptions that showcase your expertise.

Before We Start...

To use this guide you will need to have a Published Listing in the CloudTask Marketplace. If you have not published a Listing yet, you can do so by following the guidance in this article to master the basics of Listing creation: How To Publish A Sales Service Offer In The CloudTask Marketplace.

Basic Listing Information

Use the Listing Name and Listing Description to share a high-level overview of your offering for this listing and save the “What You Can Expect From Me” and “What I Need From You” for the pricing section later.

Here are some format examples we recommend you use to help you show up more frequently in search results:

Listing Name Examples: (Max 65 characters)

  • Acme B2B Appointment Setting
  • Acme Omnichannel Sales Playbook
  • Acme Curated Prospect List
  • Etc… 

Description Examples: (Max 440 characters)

If you are a Sales Agency:

Acme Agency is a lead generation company based out of the USA specialized in phone, email, and LinkedIn Outreach for SaaS companies selling into businesses in the Retail Industry with locations based in the USA.

If you are a Sales Freelancer:

I am a Sales Freelancer based out of Colombia specializing in Outbound B2B Lead Generation – identifying, contacting, and qualifying cold and warm prospects via phone, LinkedIn and email. I have x years of experience in [sales, B2B sales, B2B software sales]

Set up Hourly offering

You can only select One Hourly Rate per Listing, if you have different packages with different hourly rates you need to create multiple listings.
 
Buyers can only hire Hourly Price listings Within a Single Day, this makes it ideal for sellers that conduct sessions within a single day, such as:
  •  A Sales Training workshop that happens during one afternoon.
  •  A Sales Consulting Session that lasts only 2 hours within a single day.
  •  A Sales Freelancer o Sales Agency that offers hours for a time-limited event (i.e. Scrap a list for the duration of the gig, engage attendants to a live online event, etc) 

 

Set up Monthly Offering

DISCLAIMER: Some wording on the Monthly Pricing module might contain "Hourly" language and it's being improved constantly, rest assured this section is dedicated to services that Sellers charge monthly.

You can only select One Monthly Rate per Listing, if the price for the service listing you are creating changes at different levels (Headcount, List size, Channels used, Territory, Features Included, etc.), create a Listing for each one with its appropriate Monthly Pricing to make it easy for the Buyer to checkout
 
The following are examples of Service Offerings you might price Monthly
  • Sales Agencies that are responsible for the day-to-day execution of the services, and are hired on a monthly retainer basis to do so.
  • Sales Freelancers that are responsible for the day-to-day execution of the services, and are hired on a monthly retainer basis to do so.
  • Sales Agencies that are responsible for managing the Buyer’s internal sales team, and are hired on a monthly retainer basis to do so.
  • Sales Agencies that are responsible for providing Lead Lists to the Buyer’s sales team, and are hired on a monthly retainer basis to do so.
  • Sales Trainers that are kept on a monthly retainer basis to provide continuous improvement coaching to the Buyer’s internal Sales Team

Set up Flat-Fee offering

If you have different packages with different Flat Fee Rates, each one can have its Service Name and Service Description on the same listing, If the price for the service you are creating a listing for changes at different levels (Duration, Assets Included, Volume of Leads, etc) each one will have it’s own name, price and description, making it easy for the Buyer to check out.
