Import Quote Specialist: I was in charge of using a quoting tool connected with various carriers in the US, making sure the shipping data was correct and sometimes make corrections to the quote made by origin when they missed important information about destination like being a residential area or a school, too wide, needing flatbed, etc. Sometimes I would take calls from consignees in order to change destination, explain the pricing or they would add services like white glove. Sometimes I would dial to get more accurate information or request documentation.
I couldn't continue in that position due to the fact I had to relocate to another city and they didn't allow remote work after the height of COVID.
