Short version: this site needs a few cookies to work, uses a few more to understand what people read, and a few more to measure advertising. You can switch off everything in the second and third groups.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device. It lets the site recognise your browser on your next request, so it can keep you signed in, remember a preference, or count your visit once instead of twice.
This policy also covers technologies that behave like cookies even though they are not cookies: local storage and session storage in your browser, and tracking pixels loaded inside pages and emails. Everything this policy says about cookies applies to those as well.
Who this policy is from
This site, cloudtask.com, is operated by CloudTask Inc. This policy explains what we store on your device, why, and what you can do about it. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers personal information more broadly, and our Terms of Service. Both are linked at the foot of this page.
CATEGORIES
The three kinds we use
Every cookie on this site falls into one of these three. The first keeps the site running. The other two do not, and you can refuse them without losing anything you came here for.
Strictly necessary
These make the site work. They keep the service available, protect it from automated abuse, route your request to the right server, and remember choices you make inside a form so you do not lose your place.
The site cannot function properly without them, so they are not something you can switch off here. You can still block them in your browser, but parts of the site will stop working.
Analytics
These tell us how the site is used in aggregate: which pages get read, which journeys stall, whether a change made things better or worse. We use them to decide what to fix and what to write next.
They are not necessary for the site to work. Where the law requires consent for them, that is the basis we rely on.
Advertising and marketing
These let us measure whether an ad or a campaign led to something useful, and let advertising platforms recognise a browser that has already visited us. They can be used to show you our ads elsewhere.

Measured on cloudtask.com. Each provider publishes its own list of cookie names and how long each one lasts; we link to those below rather than restate them, because theirs is the version that stays current.
Cloudflare
Strictly necessary. Serves and protects the site, filters automated abuse, and measures page performance.
Google Tag Manager
Strictly necessary. Loads the other tags on this page. It is the container, and on its own it does not profile you.
Google Analytics 4
Analytics. Counts visits and pages, tells one browser from another, and shows which journeys work.
Google Ads and DoubleClick
Advertising. Attributes a signup to the ad that led to it, and lets Google recognise a browser that has visited us.
HubSpot
Analytics and marketing. Runs our forms and chat, links a form submission to the visits that preceded it, and stores the referrer that brought you here.

YOUR CHOICES
How to turn these off
You do not have to accept the analytics and advertising cookies. Here is every way to refuse them that works today.
In your browser
Every major browser lets you see the cookies a site has stored, delete them, and block future ones, either for every site or for cloudtask.com specifically. The controls live under Settings, usually as Privacy, Cookies, or Site data. Deleting them signs you out of sites and clears saved preferences, including ours.
Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break parts of this site. Blocking the analytics and advertising ones will not.
With the providers directly
Some providers offer their own opt-out, which works across every site that uses them, not just this one. The four links below are those opt-outs.
Signals we honour
Browsers can send a Global Privacy Control signal, which is treated as a valid opt-out request under several privacy laws. Some browsers also send a Do Not Track header, which has no agreed meaning across the industry and which most sites, including this one, cannot act on in any consistent way. If you want a specific request handled, contact us and we will handle it directly.

These rights come from data protection law. Where your local law gives you more, that law wins and we follow it.
If you are in the EEA or the UK
The GDPR and the UK GDPR give you the right to:
• access the personal data we hold about you, and get a copy
• have it corrected if it is wrong, or deleted
• object to processing, or ask us to restrict it
• receive your data in a portable format
• withdraw consent at any time, where we relied on consent
• complain to your national supervisory authority
Withdrawing consent does not undo processing that already happened while it was valid.
Where your data goes
The providers named on this page are based in the United States, and our talent network operates across Latin America, so data associated with these cookies is processed outside the EEA and the UK. Transfers of that kind rely on the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to this policy
This policy was last updated on September 8, 2026. When we add or remove a provider, we update this page and change that date. If a change materially affects what we do with your data, we will say so rather than leave you to spot the diff.
