How it works

How do I outsource sales with CloudTask?

You do one thing: interview. We handle everything else.

1

Post the role

5 minutes. The role, the motion, the tools, the comp band. That is all we need to start.

2

Review your matches

3 to 5 matches in 48 hours.

3

Interview and hire

We coordinate interviews. On Managed Staffing, we also handle payroll and compliance across LATAM.

WHY TEAMS TRUST CLOUDTASK

What you get with every hire

A closer on your team, not a rented rep

The person works your pipeline, in your CRM and to your playbook. No agency account manager between you and the people selling for you.

Your hours, your buyers

Latin America and the Caribbean overlap the US working day, so discovery calls, demos and follow-ups happen while your buyers are at their desks.

Verified on your sales stack

Your CRM, dialer and call recording tools are checked with each candidate on a live call, so nobody learns Salesforce on your pipeline.

Replacement guarantee

A closer who is not working out gets replaced, on both models, so a seat on your quota does not sit empty while you start over.

THE HARD PART ABOUT HIRING

Why sales hiring stalls, and what changes with CloudTask

Most teams reach for sales outsourcing because hiring closers in-house is slow, and because an agency's shared reps never quite become part of the team.

The Problem

Finding an experienced closer takes months of sourcing, screening and offers that fall through.

The Fix

You get 3 to 5 matched profiles within 48 hours, each one screened on a live call against the role you described.

The Problem

An outsourced sales agency splits its reps across clients, and your pipeline gets a share of their week.

The Fix

The person you hire works only for you, inside your CRM, with your targets and your manager.

The Problem

When one rep leaves a small sales team, a real share of the number leaves with them.

The Fix

Every seat carries a replacement guarantee: 24 months on Managed Staffing, 6 months on Direct Hire.

HIRING GUIDE

How to outsource sales without losing control of the pipeline

Sales outsourcing covers very different arrangements, from an agency that sells on your behalf to a dedicated closer who joins your team through a staffing partner. This guide explains the options, what to check before you choose one, and how CloudTask fits in.

What is sales outsourcing?

Sales outsourcing means someone outside your payroll does part of your selling. In practice it is one of three things: an agency that runs a sales motion for you with its own people, a freelancer or contractor you manage yourself, or a staffing partner that places a dedicated person on your team.

All three get called sales outsourcing, and they produce very different pipelines. Before comparing providers, decide which of the three you actually want.

Does an outsourced sales team perform as well as an in-house one?

It depends less on geography than on dedication. A rep who splits the week across several clients, sells from someone else's playbook and reports to an agency manager will rarely feel like part of your team, wherever they sit.

A dedicated closer who works only your pipeline, in your CRM, coached by your sales leader, behaves like an in-house hire because in every way that matters, they are one. That is the model CloudTask staffs.

Which sales roles to outsource first

Start where the bottleneck is. If meetings are booked but deals stall, you need an Account Executive who can run discovery, demos and negotiation. If you have several sellers and nobody coaching them or keeping the forecast honest, you need a Sales Manager.

If your closers spend their week on CRM hygiene, proposals and follow-up admin, a sales operations hire protects their selling time. Top of funnel work, prospecting and appointment setting, is a different hire; the related pages below cover it.

How to choose a sales outsourcing provider

• Who employs the person, and who manages them day to day.
• Whether the rep is dedicated to you or shared across clients.
• Whether they work in your CRM and your tools, or in the provider's.
• What happens when someone leaves: is there a replacement, and how long does it cover.
• Who owns the pipeline data, the call recordings and the account history if you end the relationship.

Review sites rank sales outsourcing firms by rating. The answers to these five questions tell you whether a firm rents you a rep or helps you hire a closer.

What does sales outsourcing cost?

A closer's cost moves with seniority, deal size, commission plan and the country they sell from, so a price quoted without those details is a guess. Sales agencies often combine a retainer with commission on closed deals; contractors bill for their time.

CloudTask prices the seat, not the deals. Managed Staffing is one all-in monthly rate per person, with payments, compliance and replacement cover included. Direct Hire is a one-time fee of 20% to 30% of first-year base salary, and the closer joins your payroll. You see your number before the first interview.

Sales as a service or a hire of your own?

Sales as a service works when you want to test a market or a segment without building a team, and you accept that the provider owns the motion. It fits less well once you know what works and want to keep the knowledge, the relationships and the pipeline inside the company.

If your product needs sellers who understand it deeply, or your deals take several conversations to close, a hire of your own usually pays off faster than renting a motion.

What to check in the interview

Ask the candidate to walk you through a deal they closed: how they found the real problem in discovery, who else was involved, and what nearly made it slip. Strong closers talk about the buyer, not about their pitch.

Then give them one of your stalled opportunities and ask for the next three steps. You will hear whether they qualify before they push, and whether they keep the CRM current as part of the job or as an afterthought.

Red flags in sales candidates

Pitch before discovery. A candidate who describes every deal as a great demo, with no mention of what the buyer needed, will talk past your customers.

No next step on the stalled deal. Pushing for a close, or giving up on the account, instead of finding out what changed, usually means a thin pipeline review in real life too.

The CRM as someone else's job. If notes, stages and next steps sound optional, your forecast will be a guess.

Credit without context. Numbers with no explanation of territory, deal size or team usually hide more than they show.

How CloudTask hires your sales team

You tell us the seat, the sales motion, the deal size, the tools and the hours you need covered. We come back with 3 to 5 matched profiles within 48 hours, each one screened on a live call and verified against the tools you named.

You run the interviews and pick your closer. On Managed Staffing we handle payments, compliance and onboarding and check in while the person ramps on your pipeline. On Direct Hire the closer joins your payroll from day one. Either way, the seat carries a replacement guarantee: 24 months on Managed Staffing, 6 months on Direct Hire.

FAQ

The fine print, in plain terms.

What is the difference between an outsourced sales team and a hire through CloudTask?
An outsourced sales agency sells for you with its own people, usually shared across clients, and keeps the motion. CloudTask places a dedicated closer who works only for you, in your CRM and to your playbook, on Managed Staffing or Direct Hire.
Which sales roles can I hire?
Account Executives, Sales Managers and sales operations talent for the closing side of the funnel. Prospecting and appointment setting are separate hires, linked in the related pages above.
Is there a minimum term?
Full-cycle Account Executives on Managed Staffing carry a six-month minimum term, as do other roles that create demand (outbound SDRs, BDRs and demand generation). Sales Managers and sales operations roles do not, and Direct Hire has no minimum term.
Can the person work in our CRM and sales tools?
Yes. Tell us which CRM and sales tools your team uses, and we verify them per candidate before you see a profile.
What is the $299 for?
It starts your search. One time, not a subscription. It applies to your first placement or toward a buyout, so it is not an extra cost, it is the first part of one.
Why is there no number on the monthly rate?
Because it depends on the role, the seniority and the country. We quote the all-in monthly rate per person before you interview, so you know the number before you commit to anyone.
Who is the legal employer?
On Managed Staffing, CloudTask is the contracting party and handles payments and compliance, and you direct the work. On Direct Hire, you employ and manage the hire from day one.
How does tracking work, and can I turn it off?
On Managed Staffing, time and activity tracking is on by default. Talk to us about your setup when you start your search.
What happens if the person does not work out?
Managed Staffing carries a 24-month replacement guarantee, and replacements are not capped. Direct Hire carries a 6-month replacement guarantee: one replacement for the same job description.
Is there a platform or subscription fee?
No. $299 starts your search, one time, and applies toward your first placement. There is no subscription.
