WHY TEAMS TRUST CLOUDTASK
What you get with every hire
Someone who runs enrichment every day
An operator on your team who owns lists, waterfalls and credits, not a consultant who builds one workflow and leaves your reps to maintain it.
Your hours, your pipeline
Latin America and the Caribbean overlap the US working day, so lists are enriched and pushed to the CRM while your sales team is working.
Verified on the tools
Databar or Clay, and the CRM they push into, are checked per candidate on a live call, not taken from a self-reported list of tools.
Replacement guarantee
24 months on Managed Staffing, 6 months on Direct Hire. If the fit is wrong, we replace the person, so your data work does not stop while you start over.

David Barrett CEO, Expensify -
At first we were an SF-based team only. Then I met Amir Reiter back in 2018. After visiting Medellín, I knew LATAM would be key to our growth and success.
Tim Zheng CEO, Apollo.io -
After meeting my CX and CS team in Medellín, we immediately loved the culture and the work ethic. As a European-HQ company, we found LATAM to be perfect to service our American clients.

SKILLS
Top capabilities to look for in a Databar enrichment operator
What separates someone who has run a table of lookups from someone who can own your enrichment layer, its credits and the data it sends into your CRM.
-
ICP translated into lists
Turns a description of your best customers into company and people lists, and can explain why each filter and column is there.
-
Waterfalls designed on purpose
Decides which provider to try first and when to fall back to the next one, based on coverage and cost, not on habit.
-
Credit discipline
Tests on a small sample before running a full list, avoids enriching the same record twice and can tell you what each enriched contact costs.
-
Verification before sending
Checks emails and phones before a contact enters a sequence and removes what fails, instead of cleaning up after the bounces.
-
Signals used with judgment
Uses signals to decide who gets contacted first, and knows when a signal is noise rather than a buying moment.
-
A clean push into the CRM
Maps fields, prevents duplicates and decides which system owns each value, so enrichment does not overwrite what your reps entered.
-
Reporting on data quality
Tracks coverage, verification and bounce rates by source, so you know which providers and lists are worth paying for.
-
Workflows written down
Documents each workflow, its inputs and its cost, so the setup keeps running and makes sense to the next person who opens it.
HIRING GUIDE
How to hire a Databar enrichment operator
Hiring someone to run enrichment well comes down to three decisions: who owns the credits and the workflows, how much of the stack around Databar or Clay the person will touch, and how you verify it before day one. This guide walks through each one, then explains how CloudTask matches you with a vetted enrichment operator from Latin America.
Decide who owns enrichment
Enrichment usually starts as a side task. An SDR pulls a list, a marketer runs a lookup, someone in RevOps buys more credits. Nobody owns the result, so the same contacts get enriched twice and the CRM fills with values from three different providers.
An enrichment operator owns the layer: the lists, the waterfalls, the credit budget and what gets pushed into the CRM. Decide whether that is a full role on your team or one part of a RevOps or growth role before you brief anyone, because it changes who you should hire.
Databar, Clay or both
Small GTM teams often ask which tool to pick. The answer that matters for hiring is simpler: the operator should work in whichever tool your team already runs, and be able to explain the tradeoffs if you are still choosing.
Ask candidates what they have built in each and why. Someone who has run enrichment workflows in one tool can usually carry the thinking to the other; someone who only knows where the buttons are cannot.
Waterfalls and credits: where most enrichment goes wrong
Most enrichment problems are not missing data. They are spending: full lists run before a test, providers queried in the wrong order, and records enriched again because nobody checked what was already there.
A strong candidate can show you how they would order providers for your market, how they test a workflow on a small sample first, and how they track what each enriched contact costs.
Verification and data quality
Enriched data decays. Emails bounce, people change jobs, phone numbers go dead. Ask how the candidate verifies contacts before they enter a sequence and how often they refresh records that are already in the CRM.
Then ask what they report on. Coverage by source, verification results and bounces tell you which providers are worth keeping; a count of rows enriched tells you nothing.
The CRM push is the part nobody owns
When enrichment writes into the CRM without rules, it overwrites values reps entered, creates duplicates and breaks the reports your team relies on.
Ask how they have pushed enriched data into Salesforce or HubSpot: which fields enrichment may overwrite, how duplicates are prevented, and how they notice when a workflow stops writing.
What an enrichment operator delivers in the first month
Expect an audit before anything new gets built: what lists exist, which providers and credits are in use, and how clean the CRM really is. Then one or two workflows rebuilt properly, usually the list that feeds outbound and the enrichment of inbound leads before routing.
By the end of the month you should have those workflows documented, a view of cost per enriched record and a short list of what to fix next. Be wary of anyone who promises the whole stack rebuilt in the first weeks.
What to check in the interview
Give the candidate a short description of your best customer and ask them to talk through the list and the enrichment waterfall they would build for it. You will hear whether they think in coverage and cost, or only in columns.
Then show them a real list with a high bounce rate and ask what they would check first and why. A strong answer starts with verification and the source of the data, and explains how to measure the fix before spending more credits.
Red flags in Databar expert candidates
Rows as the goal. A candidate who talks about how many records they enriched, and never about coverage, bounces or cost, will spend your credits on the wrong number.
More credits before a diagnosis. In the bounce rate exercise, reaching for another provider before checking verification and the source of the list usually means the real problem goes untouched.
No view on cost. If a candidate cannot say how they would test on a sample or track cost per enriched contact, your credit budget will run out before the month does.
Overwriting the CRM freely. Someone with no rules on which fields enrichment may touch will replace what your reps entered with whatever a provider returned.
Nothing written down. A candidate who has never documented a workflow will build a setup that only works while they are there.
How much does a Databar expert cost?
It depends on the scope, the seniority and the country the person works from, and any single number describes one scenario and calls it a price.
What is worth understanding is the shape. On Managed Staffing it is one all-in monthly rate per person, with payments, compliance and replacement cover inside it. On Direct Hire it is a one-time fee of 20% to 30% of first-year base salary and the person goes on your payroll. Tool credits are separate and stay on your account. We quote your number before you interview anyone.
How CloudTask hires for this role
You tell us whether you run Databar, Clay or both, the CRM you use and the hours you need covered. We come back with 3 to 5 matched profiles within 48 hours, each one screened on a live call and verified against the enrichment tools and the CRM you named.
You interview and choose. On Managed Staffing we handle payments, compliance and onboarding and stay involved with check-ins. On Direct Hire the person joins your payroll from day one. Both carry a replacement guarantee: 24 months on Managed Staffing, 6 months on Direct Hire.
